St Ives already has a ban on second homes.  The ban was recently upheld by the High Court.
Now five parishes on the Rame peninsula in South East Cornwall -which have a higher concentration of holiday homes than St Ives- want to follow suit.  They are calling on Cornwall Council to restrict new homes to buyers who will use them as their main residence.
